The superiority of the isolator

The use of signal isolation in each process loop can be achieved with isolation cards such as DCS or PLC, or with isolated transmitters in the field (some devices can do this), or by signal isolators. In comparison, using signal isolators has the following advantages:
● In most cases, it is cheaper to use signal isolator + non-isolated card than isolated card.
● Signal isolators have superior performance in isolation ability and anti-electromagnetic interference than isolation cards.
● The signal isolator is flexible in application, and it also has type conversion and signal distribution functions, which is more convenient to use.
● Signal isolators usually have single-channel, dual-channel, one-in-two-out and other channel forms, and the channels are completely independent of each other, which makes the configuration and daily maintenance of the system more convenient.
