Product Introduction
Optical motion sensor products use light to detect the movement of objects. Whether passive infrared type or area reflection type, they can detect object movement in different ways and respond accordingly. Passive infrared sensors detect object movement by detecting changes in the amount of infrared light falling on the sensor, while area reflection sensors emit light and detect changes in the amount of light reflected by nearby objects to detect motion. It is worth noting that these sensors do not include products that detect object presence rather than motion, such as light curtains used for mechanical safety. These optical motion sensors find widespread applications in fields such as mechanical automation, logistics, healthcare, and consumer electronics.
