Product Introduction
The photo transistor is a discrete light-sensitive device whose performance mode is similar to that of a bipolar transistor, except that incident light replaces the current applied through the device terminals as the protagonist in its conductivity. Compared to photodiodes, photo transistors typically produce larger output currents under the same intensity conditions, but their response speed is relatively slow. Due to these characteristics, its application is relatively simple, but it is not suitable for high-speed operation.
